HiPoint is outstanding! What a nice place to stay. Our family had a

great time, enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the beautiful lake. Thanks

again.

Sincerely,

As the Grandma (or in our case the Omie), my husband and I want to thank you for the opportunity we had to stay at High Pointe with our family. We had a great week and enjoyed your home so much.

As is the case with most families, we all have busy schedules but try to make it a point to spend time together and our vacation week was very special. We swam, fished (Our four year old granddaughter was quite traumatized by the fact that fish are caught alive! We threw it back). We enjoyed our nature hikes, canoeing and swimming the Platte ( a family favorite), climbed the dunes, ate ice cream cones at Glen Arbor, dinner at Boones, played lots of games, had bonfires with Somores, read books, and put together two 1000 piece puzzles- a very satisfying week.

We have five grandchildren, Anna 6 , Drew and Hadley 4 (cousins) one year old
twin grandsons, Ben and Sam. Your home was perfect.

Thank you-

Omie and Papa H, Heidi, Steve, Anna and Drew P. and

Amy, Jim, Hadley, Ben and Sam H.

Our week at Hi Point was a wonderful success. The house was ample for our nine adults; and we were all--but especially the British members of the party -- impressed by how thoughtfully you've supplied it. There were a couple of very hot days--but nothing that a plunge in the lake couldn't cure. We went to Sleeping Bear Dunes, of course, but future renters might also like to know about the Art-and-Nature trail at Crystal Mountain; the beautiful hiking trail along the Manistee starting at Red Bridge; and the pleasures of rafting in six or seven inches of white water (no kidding) on what I think is called the Pine River..
All best,
Larry and Mimi D

….our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Michigan and loved staying at HI Point Lodge. The house and property were exactly what we were looking for and the towns surrounding Bear Lake kept all of us quite busy.   We tried out Pinecroft and The Heathland's Golf courses, some miniature golf, shopping in Frankfort and Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes and swimming in Lake Michigan at the National Park, as well as some horseback riding at Rocking R Ranch. My husband, son, brother-in-law and nephew went on a fishing expedition on Lake Michigan and caught quite a lot of salmon. My husband's was 20 lbs. We made dinner every night at the house. Everyone took turns and helped and it turned out really nice.   I think what I enjoyed most was walking along the wide paths in the woods on your property. Whether in the morning or early evening, it was very relaxing and peaceful. .. we did really enjoy our week and my husband has already suggested that we book again next year for just our immediate family.
